Friendship knows no boundaries

Assalamualaikum and a happy good evening to everyone. I was looking at my picture collections that I've been keeping since my primary school days and this thought always on my mind, "I love my friends."

Making friends sometimes easy, sometimes difficult depend on how and why you are doing that. Keeping friends at your side is not easy because everyone grows up and venture somewhere else for their future. But with all the advance communication gadgets I'm pretty convince that we can still keep in touch with each other. Having friends is really beneficial to me because my friends can be a lot of things to me.

They are my source for strength when I need one.
They are my advisers who advise me when I do wrongs.
They are my personal storytellers who share their life stories with me and giving me lots of tips and guidance in my adult life.
They are caring people who cares about me.
They encourage me to do good things and accompany me while I'm doing them.
They make me feel brave to overcome life's test and struggles.
They share my happiness sincerely.
They influenced me to be a better Muslimah.
They are kind of my vitamin for my daily energy.
They are also my motivation.
My friends are really valuable for me.

However, have I been a GOOD FRIEND to them?

Salam Chik... I think friends are important in our life. I dont know if I have been a good friend to any of my friends, but I havent done anything bad or feel anything bad for them, so yes, we should always cherish the friends we have... I would really like you as a friend, I hope you accept my friendship too. OK?

Wa'alaikumsalam Hajar.

Your words really make me happy and I'm honored too. I wish I can meet you some day. I'll be going to the KL I'nal Book Fest this coming Apr 17. Maybe I can meet you somewhere.

Seriously? Are you opening a counter there? I'd love to meet up with you sis, if we can find the time. Insya'Allah. :)

Yes, Hajar I'm serious. But I won't be there to open a booth because it's really difficult to do that with just 3 helpers. Actually I'll be there to meet my suppliers from a few countries. If you don't mind, could you give me you no? I can call you when I'm there.
