I wish one day I'll have my own abaya boutique like this one in Yambu, Saudi Arabia.
I wish I have an opportunity to visit this store.
I love abayas.
May Allah makes my dream come true.
For now, I'll work hard for this mission.
Let's start small and gradually make it bigger, insyaAllah.
I'm going to save money so that I can visit this kind of abaya stores and make my own choices.
Either in UAE or KSA, I want to go and maybe one day I will have my own line of abaya design.

Inshallah.. Allah Kareem. Chik, trust me, these sort of shops do not sell very nice abayas.. the nice ones are at the malls, these ones kain semua panas and semua kedia jual yang sama.. same like in Dubai. Tapi murahlah..
Some day insha'allah you will get to own a store like this or even better :o)
May Allah help you ;-)
To everyone: thanks for your doa and if one day this dream really come through, please welcome as my special client.
Stylomom - I trust your opinion must be from experience, thank you. However I really would like to visit them either in that kind of shops or in the malls.
salam kakchik..tgk video ni lg wat hati ni meronta2 nk g uae...jom kakchik kita g same..husbnd qis keje kt uae...heheh
wkslm mummy qis.
jom qis kita gi sana, kakchik pun kalau diizinkan Allah mmg nak sangat ke dubai tu, cari abaya, tambah pengalaman. tapi duit belum cukup lagi qis. ngape qis tak ikut suami ke sana?
To Melda and Aisha - thank you dear friends. May Allah bless both of you with love, more than mine. Amiin to your du'a.
asalaamu alaikum, that store is in Dammam, I assume the downtown suq area.
The only thing is sister, the designs they have really arent *that* great...there are is a whole area in downtown al-Khobar (near where I live) which is ALL abayaah shops, there must be several hundred abayaah stores and the the prices range from like 100-500riyals.But yeah, back to that store...the designs are pretty "eh"...not that great. You can find nicer, prettier stuff in most other shops. You can find abayaat with those designs on the grocery stores. Like right now the hot trends are "ethnic" textiles on the sleeves or back of the abayaahs...like traditional Saudi fabrics, or having lace or crochet on an abayaah, or having stones or funky embroidery...also the kimono style and bisht style are big too.
If you need or want anything from here, just email me...i'm the sis who runs Old School Hejabi.
also...fyi the mall stores are INSANELY EXPENSIVE! Like, in the ladies souk you can get really really nice abayaat for 1/3rd the price of the malls...like a Mall abayaah is usually upwards of 1,200 riyals up to 2,000 riyals...and really there is no difference...the ladies souk ones are hand sewn and made too.
But as I said, the designs in that video are very very "eh"...not that great.
Wa'alaikummussalam Umm Ibrahim.
Oh, I thought it's in Yambu because there's an address written in the video.
Thanks for giving me more info about their abayat. This post is only to show how much I wish for my own abaya shop. I'm sure you would know better about the current abaya trend.
I might need your help in the future because I'm already start my abaya business. And I can see that you have good taste in abayat. I've been reading your blog sis ever since I know you've also come here.
Yes, I know about those insanely expensive mall abayats. I have a friend living in Yambu and she told me about that.
For my shop I'm starting with value buys abayat and will also took orders for designer or trendy abayat, depends on my supplier. After surveying the local market, value buys would be more suitable.
Thank you once again Umm Ibrahim. I'll take note about this.
