Is there any truth to this email?

Assalamualaikum dear readers.

This is FAKE

I was sorting out my emails just now and to my utter annoyance there were too many spam emails get into my inbox. Among those emails, I received two emails about certain warning regarding FAKE ISLAMIC SITES. I think I've read somewhere about the same thing before but I can't remember where.

Please read this email excerpt and please tell me what you think about it.

Here's the email:
Please send this message to every one you know.

If you don't.... A Muslim(s) around the world could be receiving false information about Islam which you know about, so I would send this messages as soon as u have read it.

Beware of the following websites:

1. www.answering-islam.org
2. www.aboutislam.com
3. www.thequran.com
4. www.allahassurance.com

These sites have been developed by the Jews who intentionally spread wrong information about the QURAN, the HADITH and Islam.

Please spread this information to all the Muslim brothers and sisters around the world.

Always check the source of any Islamic web site even if it is very convincing.

A FAKE AMERICAN QURAAN

Above: 'The True Furqan'

You Cant Ignore this, send it to as many Muslims as u can.

The new AMERICAN Quran: a dangerous trick A new Quran is being distributed in Kuwait , titled 'The True Furqan. It is being described as the ayats of the Shaytan and Al-Furqan weekly magazine has found out that the two American printing companies;'Omega 2001' and 'Wine Press' are involved in the publishing of 'The True Furqan', a book which has also been titled 'The 21st Century Quran'! It is over 366 pages and is in both the Arabic and English languages...it is being distributed to our children in Kuwait in the private English schools! The book contains 77 Surats, which include Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of Bismillah, each Surat begins with a longer version of this incorporating the Christian belief of the three spirits.

And this so called Quran opposes many Islamic beliefs. in one of its ayats it describes having more than one wife as fornication, divorce being non-permissible and it uses a new system for the sharing out of the will, opposing the current one. It states that Jihad is HARAM.

This book even goes as far as attacking Allah, Subhanahu wa Tahala!

All this is poisoning our children at approx. $3.

Brothers and Sisters please make sure you forward this email to as many people as possible so that we can stop this dangerous trick.

Please tell everyone you know and may Allah reward you.

It's like a chain-mail and I don't like forwarding to others this kind of emails. I haven't have time yet to try visiting those websites that were claimed to be developed by Jews with wrong intentions. InsyaAllah after I finished cataloging the abayat, I'm going to check it out.

i don't know but PLEASE read my post about clicking on this sites its here http://hijabmaster.blogspot.com/2009/11/islamic-hate-sites-chain-emails-and.html

every time we click on those sites we are giving them traffic and they start ranking higher in searches like google. So when someone is trying to learn about Islam and they do a search these hate sites pop up. PLEASE share with people so that they don't inadvertently help these people spread their hate.

The furqan book made the rounds of Jumuah Magazine, until one of the brothers actually read it and things were dealt with. Unfortunately, they are really trying to put a copy of this in every room in every hotel like the Gideons and trying to make it like the Qur'an, although alhamdulillah, the truth is triumphing and it's lost a lot of its original momentum.

Assalamu alaikum,

I actually just did a post on this exact same e-mail.

I visited all of the sites so you can just check mine if you want so you don't give them traffic

Dear Tuttie,
Thanks sis. I've read your post about it and I agree with you. In that case I won't be clicking or visit those sites.
Those people don't have anything better to do than playing havoc with Muslims.

Noor,
Alhamdulillah for the brother's quick action. In Malaysia, they tried to influence Muslim by publishing a Malay version of the Qur'an called Bacaan excluding all the Arabic texts. With lots of false translations.
Alhamdulillah the religious departments have done their job by confiscating those books.
But I think they have influenced many people especially those who wanted to do everything according to their nafs/need.

Wa'alaikummussalam NeverEver.
InsyaAllah I'll look into your post. Tuttie also mention about your post in her post about this.
Thank you sis.

If it's true, I think it's highly unlikely that the sites are run by Jews. They're not pro-Israel sites, and Jews have no more interest in the finer points of Koranic scholarship than you do in Talmudic debates. I think it's much more likely that the site's authors are Muslims looking to make trouble or play a bad prank.

Ok, I've examined all the sites.

1. The first site has quotes from the Christian Bible on it. It also has a "who is Jesus" section. Jesus is entirely irrelevant to Jews; I'm guessing you have the Christians to blame for this one.

2. The second one redirects of perfumesofarabia.com, which is an ecommerce site.

3. The third one seems suspicious, but it is a site about Islam (which two out of four aren't). I think this one is Muslim-run.

4. The fourth one is not a valid URL and redirects to a search website.

Dear Margaret,
That's why I'm asking the readers about their truthfulness. After reading Tuttie's and NeverEver's post on the same issue, I've decided not to visit any of those sites regardless of which party they linked to.

Huhu... you are very nice to do all the examinations. Thank you sis. I hope that information can clear things out.
