Fancy jilbab @ jubah
The one that caught my eyes.
Spoilt for choice.
They are the current jilbab trend in Malaysia. Layered chiffon jilbab comes in many fancy colors and beautiful designs. Everywhere in Malaysia you can certainly find Muslim women wearing it except me. :) :)
I like them... but I do not own even one piece. They look so pretty but they are a little too fancy for me.
Personally I think this jilbab is well like by the local women because the material is so light and suitable in our tropical weather which is rather warm lately.
Furthermore they are quite cheap compared to abaya. If your budget is below RM100 than this is the right one.

Are women there wearing the jilbab over their clothes or just like they wear the baju kurung?
Assalamualaikum Kak Chik,
Love the colors! Have you seen the ones heavily laded with beads and sequins??? I am seeing more and more of those in KL.
Assalamualaikum kakchik,
Yes, I have one. The material used for the lining [inner layer] can be quite warm actually, so it's more suitable to be worn in air-cond rooms.
Masha'Allah, these are beautiful!!! And the colors are stunning! :DDD
I do tend to prefer jilbabs that are a bit more toned down (denim or cotton jilbabs in solid, non-black colors with minimal embroidery and decoration), but these are so gorgeous I would be willing to make an exception. :)
Wa'alaikummussalam C.
I think most women wear this jilbab just like baju kurung. No over garment.
As for me, I always wear a plain jilbab or a black abaya over my baju kurung.
Wa'alaikummussalam Hajar.
Yes, I did see those kind of jilbabs. This new trend of sewing beads and sequins on the jilbab is really making big business.
Wa'alaikummussalam kak aliya. Oh, really? From the ones that I've seen (where I shoot the pictures) the lining is like satin or cotton. I thought they would be suitable for the sunny weather. But you know better because you already wear it.
Banana Anne, years before I was always wearing the same style of jilbabs like your preference and lately I'm more into abayaat. So these gorgeous colourful jilbabs are just an eye candies for me, lol. But I like seeing others wearing them, they look pretty.
Very colourful! I think they would be a bit much for me too, but if others were wearing such bright colours and loud designs, I'd definitely be at least a bit more colourful than I normally am. Very beautiful anyway!
Candice, in this country, it's common to see bright and loud designs. Even though I'm personally do not wear them outside of the house, women here are really colourful and creative. However, sometimes to blend in, I add a bit of colour to my attire just like what you would you do.
