Life is a bit difficult when you don't own a laptop

Assalamualaikum dear friends and readers,

My life currently has become a bit stress since my laptop crashed down on July 4th. I thought it can still be repaired but I'm not that lucky. For a person who works and have pleasure with using a laptop, I feel handicapped.
My beloved dead laptop - thanks for obediently do all my bidding through out this 5 years without getting ill even once. RIP.

Right now I'm borrowing my husband's pc while he's doing his work with his laptop. He might need this pc too soon. As a sports journalist he needs more than one pc. And the FIFA World Cup along with the Malaysian Football League, I just can't use his pc so much.

I think by the end of this month I shall buy a new laptop. I don't care. I can't be efficient in my business without the laptop. There are so many dealings with customers, suppliers and publishers that I do online. I'm definitely gonna buy me a new laptop.

Hopefully my husband will be supportive - as in sponsoring part of the cost :D

It's time to have some fun!

Assalamualaikum wr wbt to all dear friends and readers.

This semester's modules.

Tomorrow will be a full class day starting at 8 am until 5.30 pm. Since last night I was trying to read and concentrate on this 3 modules as a preparation for tomorrow. I hate going to class without preparation especially when I  am the only student for that class.

Yes, for this semester I am left alone by my course mates. This year, all of us is doing our minor and I have chosen English as my minor while all my course mates chose either Malay Studies or Islamic Study.

I thought I would be bored without friends but luckily my tutors are so sporting and know how to make our class fun. I love my minor classes. I love discussing the subjects with my tutors Madam Carolyn and Mrs. Yon. Alhamdulillah, both of them said that they enjoyed the class too.

So, that's all for today because I am going to study.

Wassalam.

Let the pictures tell the story

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.
Salawat dan salaam to our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam.
Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

I'm not feeling very well since the flu attacked me in full speed. My whole body feel so weak but I can't lie down because of difficulty in breathing. So, here I am sitting on this hard chair typing a few words for you. I don't think I can write very long so tonight I will paste some pictures here. If you'd want to see it just go ahead and if you feels that it is a waste of your time, it's ok to leave.

So here goes, PLEASE BE AWARE that this is random.

Morning Depression

I am angry but I try to stay calm.

Reasoning?

The answer - I am always wrong!

My mom scolded me, my dad scolded me

and of course cold shoulder from the one I need most.

I am angry but I need to stay calm

and focus.

I have a job to go to

I have a shop to tend to

I have a diploma to  complete

I have an amanah to fulfill

Yet,

I was taken for granted.

I am angry and I am sad.

Sad... sad... sad.

Depression is coming

and I don't know

whether I can stay calm, focus

and happy as usual?

A clash between two world.

Love the abaya design but I'm ashamed to see the background.
For a 'kampung' woman like me, the view at the back is way too bizarre and shameful to see. I'm glad that there's no lingerie shops modeled their merchandise like this in this town. Lingerie is something private and should be sold somewhere not too obvious.

Back to the ladies in the abayat, I love love that abaya. Hmm... now I'm thinking of tailor made one like that for me. What do you think?

Our New Home Is Almost Finish

Assalamualaikum dear friends and readers.

May Allah bless us all with good health (cough, cough) insyaAllah and a happy life with our family wherever we are.

Actually I'm not feeling very well since the Eid day but I think my illness is lesser than my mom who's suffering from fever, sore throat, cough and high blood pressure. I won't whine or sigh because I will always remember that my beloved hard working mom is sicker than me. I would try my best to help her while I still have a few more days at home.

Well, apart from the health thingy, I'd like to share with you that our new home is soon to be finished. You can see part of it in the image above. Currently, workers are doing the flooring job for the second floor after they'd finished the ground floor's yesterday. Alhamdulillah.

The house should have been finished in the middle of this year however due to certain circumstances, it was delayed. I am hoping to move in by early next year, insyaAllah.

I'm living in a kampung (village) that's why you can see there are coconut trees nearby the house. Well a few have been chopped down by the landowner next door to give way for new development (maybe) so now there's no more coconut trees behind my house.

I don't really have a story to write today, so this might be it.

Wassalam.

Life Must Go On, A Reminder to Me

Assalamualaikum dear sisters and brothers (if any of you are here).

I'm sorry for not writing anything yesterday. My life is a bit busy recently and I've encountered a few problems with my bank. And also it is mt week to complete my assignments that were supposed to be submitted today. However, my tutors are out of the State and I have to postpone submitting the assignments. Actually it was a relief because I can recheck them and make some adjustment.

Anyway, after the recent events that have shocked like the whole Muslim community especially in youtube, I kept reading more Qur'an, try to do my solah sincerely and have several discussions with my friends regarding that. I have to thank those two girls for making me seeking my Deen more and feeling closer to religious people. To learn Islam, first and foremost we have to learn the tawhid and although I already learn and know about it, it seems I need to strengthen my understanding and knowledge on it. I believe that when we really understand the tawhid then our hearts will be stronger on this Deen.

My Holy Qur'an with Text and Translation from Yayasan Restu.

However, just now I randomly open up the Qur'an with translation and this is the page that was opened:

Translation of Surah Az-Zumar (The Multitudes or The Groups): ayah 71 - 75

"And those who disbelieve shall be taken to Hell in multitudes; until when they come to it, its doors will be opened, and its keepers will say to them: "Did not messengers from among yourselves come to you (apostles), reciting to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours?" They will reply: "Yea!" And the Word of torment was bound to be fulfilled in respect of the unbelievers." (71)
"It will be said: "Enter the gates of Hell, abiding therein, and evil is the abode of the arrogant." (72)
"And those who feared their Lord will be taken to the Garden in multitudes; until when they come to it, its doors will be opened, and its keepers will say: "Peace be upon you, you will be happy, so enter it to abide forever." (73)
"And they will say: "All praise is due to Allah, Who has fulfilled His Promise to us, and made us inherit the land; we may dwell in the Garden wherever we please"; how excellent is the reward of the (pious workers!)" (74)
"And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne on all sides, glorifying and praising their Lord; and it will be judged between them with justice, and it will be said: "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds!" (75)

I feel like crying but my heart are quite stubborn to let me do it. I know, this is a reminder to me. Alhamdulillah, random opening of the Quran has lead me to this. Thank you O Allah!

The Raining Season is In Full Blast

Rain, Sweet Rain

Rain falling in tears skies can't hold
They are heavy, and fast and cold,
Yet so precious that its fall's mold
Can become the nest of a new life's fold

So inconstant you may think it is alive,
For it can destroy or let thrive,
For it can be loved or despised,
For it can be benevolent or be mised

And it is so human, the rain,
(Although it is most inhuman thing around)
That when the human bears big pain
Eyes got inspiration found
In no more no less than rain,
For tears imitate the very rain-like stain

And will be a day of sorrow,
When stars have rain as borrow,
And then we won't say again:
'Here comes rain, sweet rain'

Amni - My little niece

This is my one year old niece, Amni. She's my source of joy and also my husband's. Among all her aunties, I'm the first one who saw her a few minutes after she was born. Oh, how small and red she was back then but now she's already walking and running.

Little Amni likes to spend her time with me inside my room. She looks so sweet in her baju kurung when she came looking for me. If I'm at home Amni would always want to be with me either watching some videos on youtube or reading her fav picture books.

That's one of her fav picture book, Allah is al-Khaliq. I'm so thankful to Allah that Amni loves books very much. I hope she imitates good habits from us.

Just look at her trying to put back her book in the shelf. That special slot is for children's books and each of my nieces know about it. They would take a book to read then put it back there. And Amni knows that too. Alhamdulillah.

I just love looking at this picture. The bonding moment of Amni and her uncle, my husband. They were talking about the book in her hand. My husband is very affectionate to Amni and he also loves cuddling her. Oh, I wish we will have our own baby soon. Having Amni with us during daytime is very enjoyable and I should thank my sister for living Amni at my Mom's. She will always be our bundle of joy. May Allah protect Amni from any evil and may she grow to be a good daughter, a pious muslimah, a humble servant of Allah and a responsible individual in this world. I love my little niece.

You may want to see her photo journal.
It's here.

Don't be afraid, be proud of who you are.

This is my expression of FREEDOM. As Muslim, we are FREE to choose the style we cover ourselves. The IMPORTANT issue is COVER MODESTLY. Any kind of style is okay and don't try to ask people to follow you because this is FREEDOM and basic human rights.

And also, this is what Islam teaches us.

~I am rambling randomly. Going to sleep now.~

Let's have some fun

According to this source, CINA ISLAM, this guy paints himself.

Invisible Man - Perrgghhhh....!!!!

Email : Zamri Keciks

This guy paints himself, no kidding, no trick photography he just paints himself...
Last pic is simply brilliant... ..Can you spot him?

I enjoy this kind of creativity.
