Our New Home Is Almost Finish

Assalamualaikum dear friends and readers.

May Allah bless us all with good health (cough, cough) insyaAllah and a happy life with our family wherever we are.

Actually I'm not feeling very well since the Eid day but I think my illness is lesser than my mom who's suffering from fever, sore throat, cough and high blood pressure. I won't whine or sigh because I will always remember that my beloved hard working mom is sicker than me. I would try my best to help her while I still have a few more days at home.

Well, apart from the health thingy, I'd like to share with you that our new home is soon to be finished. You can see part of it in the image above. Currently, workers are doing the flooring job for the second floor after they'd finished the ground floor's yesterday. Alhamdulillah.

The house should have been finished in the middle of this year however due to certain circumstances, it was delayed. I am hoping to move in by early next year, insyaAllah.

I'm living in a kampung (village) that's why you can see there are coconut trees nearby the house. Well a few have been chopped down by the landowner next door to give way for new development (maybe) so now there's no more coconut trees behind my house.

I don't really have a story to write today, so this might be it.

Wassalam.

assalammualaikum...

congratulations for the new home. insyaAllah, this will be where your family be blessed with many many offsprings insyaAllah, Allah knows best!

I zoomed in to the picture u enclosed, there is a small structure sitting on a yellow concrete. is that the toilet?

since your husband is an ustaz, i wish to know if you can share with us, that architecturally, in islam, the toilet should sit outside? I sought many views, because i am constructing my own house too, and insyaAllah, it will also be ready by early January, insyaAllah.

some says, that, since the toilet is only sitting a wc where the waste will be flushed outside of the house, thus, it is fine if it is in the room. only that we have to ensure everytime we use the toilet, we come out clean.

Wa'alaikummussalam teachernur.

Thank you sis. Amiin to your du'a and I hope it will be true.

Oh, that yellow structure is actually my parent's water tank. It was built like that to make sure water pressure is high. If you zoom in, you can see there's a green wall in front of my house, that's my parent's which I'm staying right now.

I was told that toilet would be better outside but still can be inside the house but it should not be facing or back-to-back with the kiblat. The kiblat should be at our left or right side when we sit in the toilet. That's how Islam teach us when we built toilet, wherever it is.

Hopefully this would satisfy your curiosity.
