Where was I?

Assalamualaikum everyone! I'm back!

Alhamdulillah... after the long absence, I think I am back to this blogging world. Back for good insyaallah. Where was I for the 7 days?

Exam Week

Well, at first I was busy with the semester exam and only have the time to update Keluargaku Sayang. It was quite a stress time for me but I'm glad that I managed to sit for the exam in good condition. Insyaallah I've done my best for all the subjects.

The day I finished the exam, I have a cold attack. Yes, influenza. It started with sneezing, then headache, splitting headache, later on coughing then the whole body sickness. I can point to so many factors contributing to the illness. The weather is too hot, no rain at all and it's almost 40 degrees day and night. And also all the stress from the exam. 

So Sick

Working is out of the question. Lying down is too painful for my head, massages only decrease a little of the pain so I persuaded my also sick husband (poor him) to buy some panadol soluble. After 2 days and half, at last the headache was cured. Alhamdulillah.

Home Sweet Home

As I was starting to feel healthy, I have to move out of my current house to my own home. Moving out is another stressful work yet I am quite happy to do it. You know, it has been more than a year for us to wait for our own home. I am really eager to move in. Until today, the process is not complete yet because it's just the two of us doing all the works. Lucky that our home is only a few feet away.

Another thing is, my bookshop is participating  in a state exhibition for a week. I have to send books and open up a stall there. In my current condition, I won't be able to maintain the stall but Allah has help me to solve that problem. Alhamdulillah.

Lastly, I have a Personal Blogging Coaching this morning. It was my personal class to personal help my clients to build their own blogs either personal blogs or business blogs. It was a fun class and I have given out my best. I think I achieve 85% of my aim for them. Their blogs are already publish with a beautiful template, some important widgets and both of them said that they understand quite well my coaching. Thank you O Allah!

And the moving out - moving in to our new home is still going on. Till then, see you in my next update. Wassalam.

It's a fun place to be

Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone.

Well, I hope everyone is doing great and in good health and strong iman. Sorry about my outburst this morning. You know, when things get off limits, that's what happened. But I'm so thankful that I managed to hold on to my sanity and keep reminding myself that Allah is there for me. Alhamdulillah my day was brighter after that.

Today, as I keep updating in my facebook that I was tending my bookshop, I get this idea of showing you what it looks like inside the mall. When you get bored you tend to think of something interesting to do and I found that snapping pictures is very good.

On the way downstairs you can see this PEACE boutique that has lots of nice clothing for women. From t-shirts, cardigans, skirts, pants, and jubahs, you'll find it here. What is interesting about this shop is it stocks clothes size XS to XXXXXL! So don't worry if you are petite or bountiful, you'll find a dress there.

Then at the first floor, I stopped at VERSE, a shoe store just to look around. Lots of interesting shoes there. This one with a LOVE heel looks different and the other two are also nice. Hey, you can buy 2 pairs of shoes for only RM50! That's CHEAP! However, I have promise myself not to buy anymore shoes because a few days ago I already bought a nice pair from NAUTIFIT.

Upon reaching the ground floor, my nose kept smelling a very wonderful smell of wafer and KAYA BALL. Stomach starts rumbling and telling me to satisfy my hunger with a handful of kaya ball (pic above). See... very tasty and yummy. I ate four, er... maybe five of the little balls and brought the rest home for dear hubby. He ate them with a mug of coffee.

So... you're gonna ask, "Where is this place?"

To Kelantanese, most of them already familiar with this mall but to everyone else, I'd like to invite you to KOTA SRI MUTIARA shopping mall ESPECIALLY to the 3rd floor because it's where my BOOKSHOP is. Hehe... TATA.

Alhamdulillah I'm proud to be a Muslim and I bow down to Allah the Only One God. I love this faith to death and I always pray that Allah will bless me as His humble servant and religious follower of the Prophet Muhammad, Rasulullah sallahu'alaihi wassalam. (saw).

And I'm proud to be a Muslim woman who is free to do what I like in order to help this Deen and of course with the consent to go out from my beloved and understanding husband. And this is what I love to do:

1. Doing book business and

2. Promoting and selling abayat.

Assalamualaikum to all friends and readers.

I'm so thankful to all of you who have spared some time to visit KakChik's Wardrobe. As you already know, I'm still busy with my bookshop and have been neglecting the fashion world. I haven't made any new set at Polyvore, I couldn't find time to write anything about Muslimah fashion even though I have a few ideas.

Anyway, my bookshop is now almost 60% ready but it was plan to be officially opened in early February. Right now, I still have many small details that I have to take care so that when the bookshop is open, it will run efficiently. InsyaAllah.

Too busy

Assalamualaikum wr wbt to all my friends and readers.

It is already the 3rd. day of January and I haven't write anything new for the past 2 days. Well... my life is like a rolling roller coaters that never stop. Whenever I have time to sit down and be online, my mind goes blank and I'm out of ideas. What I always do when I'm like that is sign in to facebook, because it's easier to update there and also read my friends current updates.

Moving out and moving in my bookshop has taken a lot of my time and energy. Doing physical work is really very tiring. Packing the books neatly into boxes, assembling all the big shelves and furniture together, etc etc... fuh, makes me loose weight. I should be happy isn't it but I can't. Too tired to even smile.

I need hugs.

I need someone to pamper me but that someone is also tired and easily falls asleep. I am left alone to massage my tired bones and also massage his tired bones, hehe.

My bookshop will be in one of the local shopping mall. That's a new beginning for my business and I'm praying very hard that Allah will bless what I'm doing because this business's main objective is to encourage people to read more and adopt reading aloud in their family. I'm gonna do my best for this business and insyaAllah this time my husband will be helping me as the shop manager.

Last night, we managed to make 2 lorry trips between the previous shop to the new one and insyaAllah this afternoon, another 2 trips will completely finish the process. It's hard but Allah has provided us with help from my husband's friends, alhamdulillah. They are the one who took care of the heavy duties and I am only doing the supervision and preparing food and drinks for them.

Today's weather looks very cloudy and I'm a bit anxious about the 2 trips. Hopefully my dear husband would solve that out with his friends.
