Nice Jilbabs

Assalamualaikum everyone.

This afternoon, let's have a look at some jilbab pictures that I found in EASYWEAR.bblogspot.com . I think they are pretty and have nice colours. The only think lacking is the size of the hijabs. They should have wear them looser and longer.

Spoilt for choice.

They are the current jilbab trend in Malaysia. Layered chiffon jilbab comes in many fancy colors and beautiful designs. Everywhere in Malaysia you can certainly find Muslim women wearing it except me. :) :)

I like them... but I do not own even one piece. They look so pretty but they are a little too fancy for me. 

Personally I think this jilbab is well like by the local women because the material is so light and suitable in our tropical weather which is rather warm lately.

Furthermore they are quite cheap compared to abaya. If your budget is below RM100 than this is the right one.

What's under the abaya?

A pair of 'baju kurung'. Malaysian likes to wear this dress in any occasion, be it formal of not, depends on the quality of the material, decoration, cutting and brand too. Mine is a normal one which I wear on daily basis. It looks like a skirt and a tunic made from the same material. I prefer to make cuffs for the sleeves to make sure that when I raise my hand, the sleeve stay secure at the wrist.


What's the outside look like?

I have an abaya or Malaysian call it 'jubah'. This is a custom made abaya which I make the design. Open front with buttons and also front pockets. Most of my old abayat are like this. Sleeves are also cuffed.


And a pretty square 60" hijab of the same colour. This hijab is quite big and can give more coverage even if you are tall and big. I even can twist it into niqab.


Lastly my old shoes which I seldom wear because I think it's too fancy. Previously I wear it during Eids and also weddings. Cheap shoes but comfortable to wear.


Don't you think they matched?

Women like to match their clothes in one tone of colour but sometimes they also do Mix and Match.

Assalamualaikum and happy Ramadhan to all my friends and visitors. Thanks for taking some time to drop by my blog and reading my random writing. Recently something unthinkable happen to my dear husband and I've written a post about it although not very specific. It's just the way I'm pouring out the burden that I'm going through with him. Anyway, I can't let the problem dampen my spirit and since this is Ramadhan, I'm trying my best to fulfill it with more ibadah and happy sharing with you.

This is the front view of the store. It's rather small compared to the one in KB Mall but you still will be spoilt for choice. Just look at that!


Oooooh... this one really caught my eyes but I don't think I'll wear it in public, too bright for me but beautiful and the price is only RM69.


More choices that you can definitely find one that will suit you.


I already found one that I like. The salesgirl shyly helps me to hold the abaya. This pattern has 3 different colours; purple, black and brown. I love all of them, but... let's try this one....


yes.... I took the purple abaya to try but sadly it's quite tight on the above part so... it's not for me. Maybe because I put it on while my black abaya is still on. Anyway, I'll be there again next time because KK Square is just 5min from home. Oh, the price... it's RM89.90. The material is satin and very soft.

It's raining and keep it simple

The day I discovered Polyvore (4 days ago)

It was the first time I met Polyvore and fell in love instantly. Actually I was first introduced to it through a sister's blog Hegab Rehab. And from that day until now, I'm totally hooked. Well, what can I say. Polyvore really inspires my inspiration in Islamic fashion.
