My Favourite Surfing Spot

Assalamualaikum and a very good afternoon everyone.

This is the second time I'm entering a Nuffnang's contest and this time it's under the Project Alpha. This one is for the Instant Cash Blogging contest. And this week's contest topic is My Favourite Surfing Spot.

As for me, my bedroom is always the best place for me to surf either day or night. It's because I have a SOHO bedroom to suit my life style.

Surfing is like an important routine in my daily schedule. I would be spending most of my time in front of the laptop at a small office inside my bedroom. If I feel like dozing of for a bit, the bed is just a few feet away.

Another best thing to surf at my favourite spot is because my dearest husband would also be nearby. Actually our working space is set up close together so that we can be side by side doing our work.

Since dearest husband bought the new Streamyx wireless modem, accessing the internet is so fast and easy at any nooks and corners of our house but the bedroom is still my favourite. I have everything that I need there and I always make sure that the room is neat and tidy.

So, I can always surf the Nuffnang websites and also the Project Alpha's to read their new updates. Ever since I signed up with Nuffnang, I seldom join their contest but once in a while if I see that it is suitable, I would try my luck.

Like this contest, it is to show my support for the Project Alpha and also to earn easy money - yes, Instant Cash Blogging is what they call it. 

P1 Wimax Wiggy

Well since I have the Streamyx at home and at the office, I seldom need a broadband. However, it might be nice to have a P1 Wimax Wiggy as a handy gadget because you never know where you will be needing the internet. It will be a bonus to own one.

My skills in Polyvore is getting rusty. I might lost my enthusiasm because of the current slow connection.

I bought the black one.

Assalamualaikum to all dear readers. May all of us are in good health and enjoying our weekend (although it's my working day).

Do you still remember the white dress that I've posted about it a week ago? Yes, the one I've mentioned here. Well, hehehe... I got me the BLACK ONE two days ago. I haven't decided yet whether I'll keep it or not. But if anyone interested to buy it from me I'm going to sell it at the same price I bought it. It's size 40 and there's a pic down below of me trying it out at the boutique.

The tunic and the matching skirt. My room was quite bright so the pic turn out to be like this. It's a beautiful black by the way.

The balloon sleeves is not really my type but this one is okay. Since the material of the cloth is quite sheer, it is layered nicely. There's a zipper at the left side of the tunic.

The sequins are not hand-sewn. It is already sewn by machine that produce the material. The PRICE is RM149. I wasn't planning to buy it but I did. This is my weakness. I can't turn down a beautiful dress which is MY SIZE and it's REALLY HARD TO FIND. Assume as an investment, hahaha.


This is how it looks like when I try it. Sorry for the bad quality of the pic. I used my Nokia 6120c to capture it and the mirror is not that clean too.

Another Win - College Fashionista!

Alhamdulillah... that's what I can say after I won again in another contest. This time is for the College Fashionista contest organized by the group Muslim Fashionista.

Here's the challenge:

So, I'll be starting college in the summer and the obvious question is WHAT TO WEAR? I would love it if you could create a set that I could wear while attending college. Keep in mind that it will be SUMMER, so there should be NO winter clothes. On the other hand, I want to follow the guidelines of our religion so the sets must be HIJAB APPROPRIATE. I don't mind color; just not over the top. Another thing is MONEY, I would like for you to get clothes from affordable stores like H&m, Charlotte Russe, and any other stores that can be found in local malls. Although those are just examples, there are a ton. I just don't want you to put an item on the set that will cost 100's or even thousands of dollars because I don't have that kind of money :p. One more thing, keep in mind my age; I'm only 17 so I don't want to dress older (so try to stay away from long skirts) and I want to show other students at the college that being Muslim does NOT mean having a poor style of fashion! The Contest will be judged on these factors: STYLE, HIJAB APPROPRIATENESS, and COST. *There will be 5 WINNERS so that I could wear a different outfit for everyday of the week :D The number of entries have no limit and you have ONE WEEK, so pitch in your ideas!
