Newest Project

Love The Way You Look

Assalamualaikum dan good afternoon everyone.

This is my latest Polyvore project, the 'Love the way you look' abaya style ideas. In between my jobs I use a few minutes to create them inspired from the beautiful abayaat that I've seen on the Net. Here they are.

This is how I do it

well... one of the ways. There are many ways to cover yourself but this is how I usually do.


Under the abaya, you can absolutely wear anything as long as people outside cannot see them. If you happen to wear an open front abaya, just be careful with the clothe you choose to wear under it. If you wear tights, skinny jeans, leggings, sheer dress or short skirts, people may see it because when you walk, the abaya will surely close and open naturally.

First Polyvore Set for 2011

Assalamualaikum. I'm a bit not well and there's a headache coming. I want to rest early but I just get this idea for  tomorrow's style. Just an idea.


Add a niqab and I'm ready to go. Really got to rest now. See you tomorrow. And this is what I wear for today.

Thursday Blues

Simple combination for a rainy day.
Assalamualaikum.

I'm tired so I just upload this photo. It was taken today's afternoon after I came back from town. It's been raining heavily since yesterday and I think it will keep going on until tomorrow. Some places have already flooded and my kampung's river is reaching the highest point. Somewhere people have to evacuate their home and move to some safe places. May Allah save us from any difficulties during this season. Take care.

Sunday Style: Uniform Day

Assalamualaikum.

Sunday was here again and as usual it's my uniform day. When you have to wear a uniform, it's not easy to change the style. 

As today was quite a cold day with rain falling down since morning until afternoon, I think it would be good to add a long coat in my Sunday Style.

I managed to persuade dear hubby to snap my pic and here's how I look at the end of the day.


Excuse the untidy background. We just arrived home and my hijab was not very tidy anymore after we ate dinner at Hayaki Restaurant.

I wear the boots and carry this newest bag from Haatyai.

Can I wear pants and at the same time wear niqab?


In my dictionary, wearing pants and at the same time you wear niqab is no problem at all. I have several people asking me the same question so I think this would be my answer.

Simple Attire for A Cold Day

Assalamualaikum.

Would you wear something like this on a cold day? Think as if you are someone who's always wear jilbab or abaya as your daily outfit.




It's quite cold lately and the rain keeps coming. I wear something like this almost everyday, except my jilbab is a black abaya dan I don't own any gloves.

I feel like buying one pair to cover my cold hands.

Request from Suraya

Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone.

I'm here just to update with a short post. This is intended for dear Suraya who has been waiting patiently for me to fulfill her request. I hope she'll forgive me for being so late in doing this. Luckily she reminds me. Alhamdulillah.

So, Sue, this is one suggestion for you. I do not create more than one set because I don't want to confuse you. Let's take a look at my suggestion.





I love your jalabiya Sue. It is very feminine and gorgeous. I would suggest you find a hijab with a darker tone of either pink or burgundy with some bling-bling on it. Find a pair of shoe also from the same colour tone. Matched them with a black shiny clutch to make your appearance a bit formal.

Use only a light make-up with a beautiful kohl applied around your eyes. Just enough to follow the sunnah and enhance a bit your self confidence to walk up that stairs and stand in front of the audience to receive your degree.

And as for the accessories, use some simple bangles maybe black + gold + pink, a bracelet and also a cute ring. Do not add to much.

If my suggestion is not to your liking, I'll be okay but I hope you shall like it.

Let's Go Simple

Today's style idea:





Being simple and modest is what's important. And as I'll be standing most of the time today, wearing a flat shoes is better.

Bought me a new boots.

And I wanna style it like this:





Or... maybe this style would be suitable for tomorrow.





Actually the boots featured in my sets above are Chloe Leather Ankle Boots which is priced more than RM2K. Huhu, I'm not gonna buy this expensive one but I've bought a Verse Ankle Boots which looks a bit like this boot.

Ideas for styling Layla Abaya

Assalamualaikum dear friends and readers.

It's been a few days after my last post. I was very busy trying to catch up with all the works and also managing my businesses so as usual my attention have to be focused only to one blog, Keluargaku Sayang.

Anyway, it does not mean that I forget about KakChik's Wardrobe. Insyaallah this is my 2nd best blog ever and I love writing here as much as I love writing at the former one.

Ramadhan is going to leave us soon and in day time I am busy with mostly the abaya business, apart from my career at the Library. Alhamdulillah this Ramadhan Abaya Elegan managed to gain many customers and more than half of them bought this abaya:
Layla Abaya
I also have this abaya and love wearing it either to work or sometimes to special events such as weddings and dinners. Anyway, one customer is still new in wearing abaya and she asked for my help to style her.

Huhu, my skill in Polyvore is getting rusty again and I just managed to create this sets:













Dear Harlina, I'm sorry for not able to create a better sets. I'm not very satisfied with this ideas. If you don't like them, insyaallah I'll create some more. Inform me okay.

With that, I'm going to rest now. I want to get up early for Sahur and Qur'an. Ma'assalamah.
